Petroica rosea
A male Rose Robin perches on a twig a metre and a half above the Lerderderg River. The robin may be wondering why your humble photographer is standing in the Lerderderg River.
Well, it seemed like a good idea at the time. There were some dragonflies I was trying to photograph but they didn't like me splashing about trying to get close and left. On the plus side, this Rose Robin came along and perched above the river saving me from getting my feet wet for nothing.
